Dammit! I wonder what he did with it!
Fact:
I once got my Pap's medals re-ribboned and joined together correctly on a bar. When I returned them to him, he complained that the Military Medal was the wrong way round (it wasn't), dismantled them, and drawing pinned them back to the shelf in his little cabinet. But at least the ribbons were new.
